The Interprize Group was founded by Bill Magill after abandoning the high-flying tech scene of Silicon Valley for the lavender fields of Provence. His search for greater authenticity, a deeper sense of purpose, and the pursuit of an audacious life legacy forms the foundation of our work and programs.
Meet The Team
Through our tapestry of varied talents and interests, we at the Group conspire (yes, a deliciously provocative term) to encourage your pursuit of daring legacy ambitions of deep personal meaning. If you are here you are seeking real change, passion, and balance, … and not asking for permission. We get that and we empower that journey.
Activities Organizer & Interpreneurship
A reformed Silicon Valley venture investor, Bill now lives simply and bountifully in Provence, France. He is fascinated with the notions of self-realization and how we flourish; of personal worth as opposed to acquired wealth.
The Interprize concept is shaped by Bill’s many years of experience supporting emerging tech companies on 3 continents, first as a Wall Street analyst and venture capitalist, and now as a visiting professor of entrepreneurship at the INSEAD business school near Paris. Principles adapted from new venture creation are coupled with the emerging concepts of positive psychology, wellness, and self-realization to form the core of interpreneurship. Bill has been publishing a monthly series of Life Leap Experiments for 2023 that help interpreneurs get their grand ambitions inspired, organized, and launched. (To find these experiments and more of Bill’s essays on what really matters visit his Substack page here.)
Bill has pursued numerous interpreneurial activities himself since moving to Provence. In addition to founding the Interprize Group and leading workshops, his first collection of essays – Postcards from a Runaway, Volume 1 – has just been reissued (find in the Books page) and a second album of original music – Last Night at the Ha Ra – was released in 2018. A full radio theatre adaption of the album was released in 2020, based on a script Bill finished that year. More books, music, and theatre projects are in development and made available at his personal website here.
Arts & Creativity
Tilly is an Emmy award winning documentary film-maker who produced and directed many groundbreaking natural history documentaries for the BBC and Discovery.
Her ‘Year in Provence’ sabbatical turned to 13 years and Tilly now works as a multi-disciplinary artist, creating ceramics, painting, print-making and foraging for plants for her naturally dyed and cyanotyped textiles.
Tilly has always had a close affinity to the natural world. Our planet and it's creatures and plants inspire and inform her work.
A neurodivergent thinker, Tilly uses her creativity as a tool for finding peace and flow. She runs creative workshops from her studio in the grounds of an ancient bastide in the countryside of Aix en Provence. She believes we all have an inner artist and holds a safe space of trust in which to awaken the artist within us.
